A water trough is the “final” component in a livestock watering system. In its simplest sense, a watering trough is merely a water container, and anything that holds water without affecting its quality can probably be used as a watering trough. However, by taking some other factors into consideration when selecting and siting a watering trough, water can be conserved, water quality can be protected or maintained, and the health of cattle can be protected or enhanced.

Note that water consumption varies considerably, depending on the temperature and stage of production. These figures are not absolute requirements and should only be used as a guide in developing water sources or as a starting point for supplying water to penned cattle. On most farms, the water system consists of a series of expansions or additions carried out over the years as requirements changed. Only when the system fails to cope, such as during a dry summer, do people realize how marginal their system has become. So how many years is your water system used for? Do they already fall behind the development of your farm?
Here we recommend our Plastic water trough to you. They are very popular on the market now, especially in Europe. Why our customers like this kind of water equipments?
